　　 The 23rd Olympic Games was held in Los Angeles, the United States, beginning July 28, 1984.To celebrate this grand sports occasion, this Directorate released a commemorative issue on June 23, 1984-the 90th anniversary of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The stamps take as their main designs three sports events in which our athletes participated, namely, Judo, Archery and Swimming. Each stamp has the emblem of the Los Angeles Olympic Games.
