The Taiwan Giants Little Leaguers of the Republic of China won the 25th Little League World Series Championship on August 28, 1971. The stamps ,originally of 〝Chungshan Building Postage Stamps,〞 are overprinted with twelve Chinese characters〝中華少年棒球世界冠軍紀念〞meaning〝Commemorating the Little Leaguers of the Republic of China Winning the Little League World Series Championship〞and a picture of the pitcher pitching the ball. The 1.00 stamp was overprinted in purple, while the 2.50 and 3.00 stamps were in deep red.
