In 1968, the 90th anniversary year of the first Chinese stamp issued in 1878, a commemorative stamp was released in honor of the occasion. This stamp takes a flock of wild geese flying in lines as its central design, symbolic of the promptness, accuracy, and orderliness of mail transmission and delivery.
