At the 12th Conference held in Republic of Korea in November 1966, the Asian Peoples' Anti-Communist League resolved to organize the World Anti-Communist League and simultaneously adopted the Charter of this world-wide movement. The first conference of the World Anti-Communist League was held in Taipei, the Republic of China, on September 25-29, 1967. In honor of this significant occasion, a set of commemorative postage stamps was released.
