Prints were surcharged as unit postage stamps with No.5 Regular-Writing characters〝國內平信(掛號)(快遞)郵資已付〞(domestic ordinary letter postage, registration, or registration express fee paid) overprinted in two vertical lines in addition to another character 〝Shen〞(陝), meaning Shensi, which was overprinted at the bottom between these two lines.
