A part of the Martyrs Hongkong print stamps was surcharged in Shanghai and issued to Taiwan. The surcharge was typograghed by the Union Printing Press of the Chung Hwa Book Co., Shanghai (上海中華書局永寧印刷廠) in Regular-Writing characters. The whole set consists of six denominations, among which the 5¢, 10¢, 30¢and $1 denominations were issued in June 1946, while the 2¢and $2 denominations were issued in September 1946 and in August 1948, respectively.
