As an introduction to the beauty of orchids, Chunghwa Post is issuing a series of Wild Orchids of Taiwan in response to the company’s current adjustment of postage with an NT$35-denominated stamp as forerunner. Cheirostylis octodactyla: This orchid grows on the ground in the mid to high-altitude cloud forests of Taiwan. The white flower is 0.8-1 cm long with many feather-like appendages in front.
