To offer more options for personalization, Chunghwa Post is issuing “The Midas Touch,” a new set of 10 personal greeting stamps. This set of stamps includes 2 different designs, with each coming in denominations of NT$3.5 and NT$5. The designs feature ten Chinese concepts in seal script: joy, positivity, thankfulness, integrity, striving, innovativeness, accommodativeness, dedication toward progress, spirit of cooperation, and well wishing. The concepts embodied by these Chinese characters and phrases reflect attitudes and values toward life and work. By following these principles, one is able to turn lemons into lemonade, stones into gems. One will live a better life and have a smoother career.The non-personalized stamps that will be available in post office branches are printed in 20 stamps per sheet. For overprinting purposes on the personalized stamps, five formats will be issued. The designs follow:1. Vertical-sheet layout without marginal inscription: The stamps are printed in 10 NT$3.5 denominations at both right and left sides. 2. Horizontal-sheet layout without marginal inscription: The stamps are printed in 10 NT$5 denominations at both upper and lower sides. 3. Horizontal-minipane layout without marginal inscription: There are two types. The stamps are printed in 4 NT$5 denominations at both right and left sides. The tags of the above-mentioned 4 items are not perforated except that name of stamp is printed at upper left corner. More spaces are reserved for the customers’ own design. 4. One business card layout without marginal inscription: The sheet is comprised of six stamps ﹣one each from the NT$3.5 denominated stamps. The name of the stamp is printed in the middle right margin. Each sheet (A4 size) can be cut into six smaller sheets (96 mm × 95 mm). To offer better service for customers purchased in bulk, those who purchase over 10,000 sheets every item from the above-mentioned 5 items may choose stamps designs at their own discretion. In conjunction with the set of personal greeting stamps, Chunghwa Post is specially printing 3 new types of covers for vertical and horizontal sheets as well as minipanes. Different from traditional L type and the single opening frame type, these new types are changed to fold card type for opening. Inside the cover, the OPP transparent bag is attached so as to facilitate the placement of the overprinted stamps and the collection of sheetlets.
