To meet the needs of the public who may occasionally have to prepay postage in big amounts, a set of stamps was issued on a design depicting a side view of the presidential mansion.

The 76-lb〝郵〞(post) watermarked paper was used for printing these stamps. But there are three slight differences as follows:

The paper used for stamps issued on September 20, 1958 bears watermarked Chinese character of heavy strokes.

The paper used for stamps issued on July 20, 1962 bears watermarked Chinese character of light strokes.

The paper used for stamps issued on May 24, 1963 bears red and blue fibers.
