The first contract signed with the Dah Tung Book Co., Shanghai after V-J Day was the printing of a Dr. Sun Yat-sen issue by the intaglio process. The design is nearly the same as that used previously, but in the other parts of the frame the foliated decorations are finer. The whole set consists of eleven denominations valued from $20 to $5,000. Only the $5,000 stamps, which are the highest denomination in this issue, are bi-colored.
