To promote the conservation of marine life, Chunghwa Post is specially collaborating with the Republic of Palau Postal Service to separately release souvenir sheets containing two stamps on sharks and green sea turtles. These separately released sheets make use of the same illustrations and topics. One of the stamps will feature Carcharhinus melanopterus and the other will feature Chelonia mydas. The backgrounds will feature sea views of the Palau islands and vivid scenery of the sea floor in a location off Taiwan coast. Chunghwa Post will issue this sheet on June 26, 2018.
      The souvenir sheet was designed by Chart Design Co., Ltd., and printed by China Color Printing Co., Ltd. in color offset. A first-day cover, folders with and without crystal mounts, and a loose-leaf album page will be released along with the souvenir sheet and will go on sale on June 22, 2018. A pre-canceled FDC with the souvenir sheet will go on sale on June 26, the stamps’ date of issuance.
