Lighthouses are important facilities for maritime navigation. By helping to guide ships, they make a major contribution to the preservation of maritime safety. Chunghwa Post released a set of stamps on Lighthouses in 2014, and now it is following up with "Lighthouses Postage Stamps (Issue of 2018)." With a date of issuance of May 23, 2018, the set will include four stamps and feature the Kaomei Lighthouse, the Wuchiu Lighthouse, the Suao Lighthouse, and the Anping Lighthouse.
    By-issues including a first-day cover, folders with and without crystal mounts, a loose-leaf album page, and maximum cards will be released along with the stamps and will go on sale on May 21, 2018. A pre-canceled FDC with a NT$8-denominated stamp or the full set of stamps, as well as a stamp folio, will go on sale on May 23, the stamps’ date of issuance.
