In alignment with Universal Postal Union (UPU) policy adjustments and the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce, Chunghwa Post will officially expand its "International ePacket " service globally starting April 1, 2026.

Simultaneously, the "International Registered Small Packet" service will be discontinued. Following this change, international registered services will be restricted to letters, postcards, aerogrammes, printed papers, newspapers, and literature for the blind.

Key Service Information:

1.Availability: Starting April 1, 2026, the International ePacket service will be available for all "destinations currently accepting international airmail."

2.Advantages: ePacket offers more competitive postage rates than current international registered small packets and features end-to-end online tracking via the Chunghwa Post website. It is ideal for cross-border e-commerce and individuals shipping lightweight items.

3.How to Ship: Shipping labels can be obtained at any post office branch or prepared online via the EZPost portal by entering the shipment details and printing the label.

4.Service Category: International ePacket is classified as ordinary mail. It is delivered directly to the recipient's address without requiring a signature. Please note that this service does not provide formal inquiries or compensation for loss or damage.

Chunghwa Post encourages customers to take advantage of this efficient and cost-effective shipping solution for their international needs.
