The Visa Debit Card does not have the function of delayed payment as credit card, neither does it have the functions of cash advance.
(2)
In addition to the functions of a general ATM card such as withdraw money and transfers, the Visa Debit Card can be used by a cardholder to make purchases at any stores posted a "VISA" logo internationally with signature on the transaction slip.The amount will be debited immediately from the deposit account designated by the cardholder.
(3)
Outside of the country, the cardholder is able to withdraw local currency from any ATM that has a "VISA" logo by entering visa password (6 digits).

Application process and documentation requirements:
(1)
The applicant must be at least 18, has a passbook savings account (including the integrated postal savings account), and shall bring the national ID card (passport and valid resident certificate for foreigners), passbook, original chop and ATM card to any post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original post office where the account was established) to apply the Visa Debit Card in person. An authorized person can't handle the application process on behalf of the applicant.
(2)
The applicant shall prepare the above mentioned documents to the designated post office for receiving the Visa Debit Card within 5 working days of the application being taken, and enter 6-12 digits chip password and 6-digits visa password into the Password Entering Machine at the post office counter.
3.
Visa Debit Card purchases and overseas ATM withdraws limit:
(1)
The maximum accumulated spending limit is NTD60,000 daily and NTD100,000 monthly.
(2)
The overseas ATM withdraws limit in a foreign country should not exceed the foreign currencies equivalent to NTD20,000 per transaction, NTD50,000 per day and NTD100,000 per month.

Other points for attention:
(1)
If Visa Debit Card is loss or theft, you shall immediately inform our any post offices (or Customer Services Center voice service hotline: 0800-700-365, or payment number: (04)2354-2030 if you dial through a cell phone, or international payment number +886-4-23542030) to temporarily suspend payment.
(2)
You shall bring your national ID card (passport and valid resident certificate for foreign cardholders), passbook and original chop to any post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original post office where the account was established) for issuing a new replacement card. The handling fee for reissuing a Visa Debit Card is NTD100.
(3)
Our computer system shuts down from 1:00am to 1:20am everyday to process files in batches. During this period, all online transactions and services are suspended.
