You are advised to use and enjoy a variety of banking services through our ATM and WebATM
devices, using the postal ATM card at any post offices throughout Taiwan. It is easy, convenient and safe.
1.
Application procedures:
(1)
You may apply for the ATM card simultaneously when you open an account.
(2)
If you apply ATM card after you opened the account, please bring your national ID card, original chop and passbook return to any post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original post office where the account was established).
2.
Contents of services:
(1)
Loss of your ATM card:
a.
Whenever you notice your ATM card has been lost, please proceed immediately to a post office (or the Customer Service Center) to discontinue payment. Meanwhile, please return to a post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original post office where the account was established) to apply for reissuance of the ATM card or for termination of the use. NT$100 handling charge should be paid if you apply for reissuance of an ATM card.
b.
Beyond the post office's regular business hours, please use Customer Service Center voice service hotline 0800-700-365, or payment number (04) 23542030 if you dial through a cell phone, to temporarily suspend payment.
(2)
Replacement of ATM card:
Whenever your ATM card is damaged, demagnetized or doesn't work for any other reasons, Please apply for replacement into a new card, free of charge.
(3)
Change in password:
a.
You may, at anytime, return to an ATM or WebATM to change password of a ATM card. (Please key in both the old password and renewed password.)
b.
Whenever your ATM card is locked after you input three wrong passwords or you forget your password, please return to any post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original post office where the account was established) with your ATM card, national ID card, passbook, original chop to build a new password.
(4)
Withdrawal:
a.
Withdrawal through a post office ATM:
You may withdraw deposit with your ATM card through a post office ATM within the maximum of NT$60,000 per withdrawal, and the maximum of NT$100,000 for total withdrawals in accumulation within a day.
b.
Interbank withdrawal:
When you withdraw with your ATM card from other interbank ATM, there will be NT$6 handling charge per withdrawal. The interbank withdrawal shall be subject to the maximum of NT$20,000 per withdrawal, and the maximum of NT$100,000 for total withdrawals in accumulation within a day.
(5)
Deposit:
You may deposit money with your ATM card through a post office counter or through a post
office ATM (with the function for deposit).
(6)
Transfer:
The total amount of all money transfers through an ATM card shall not exceed the maximum of NT$500,000 in a day.
a.
Designate accounts:
Please return to any post office (For non-online passbook accounts should go to the original
post office where the account was established) with your national ID card, original chop,
passbook and fill out the application form. The maximum amount of transfers shall not
exceed NT$500,000 in a day or in a single transfer.
b.
Non-designate accounts:
Please turn to any post office with your national ID card and ATM card (or passbook) to fill
out the application form for such need. The maximum of transfer NT$30,000 in a day or in
a single transfer.
(7)
Payment:
You may pay taxes, electricity bills, or other payment bills with your ATM card through an ATM or WebATM.
