Operational Policies
 
1.Regarding the execution of government policies
(1) In coordination with organizational restructuring policies, Chunghwa Post will be )
proceeding actively to its plans for organizational restructuring.
(2) In coordination with the government’s financial and economic policies, Chunghwa post will provide postal funds to support major government construction projects
and private-sector investments.
(3) In coordination with the policy of developing cross-strait three links, Chunghwa post will deal with various mailing and remittance services between Taiwan and
Mainland China at proper times.
2.Regarding management
(1) Promote organizational learning, actively nurture professional talents, strengthen staff’s convertible job-function, and effectively utilize human resources.
(2) Probe into market demands, research and develop new lines of business, and (1)
escalate market competitiveness.
(3) Streamline operational procedures, fortify management mechanisms, reduce (1)
operational costs, and raise operational performance.
(4) Use a customer database system, effectively grasp customer needs, and provide
prompt and high-quality service.
(5) Strengthen mail delivery management, build the system of mail receiving &
sending, and strengthen logistics function.
(6) Reinforce the foundation of logistics, promote e-commerce, integrate the flows of
capital, logistics and information, and open up operational opportunities.
(7) Duly develop philatelic products, expand both domestic and international business outlets, and promote stamp collecting.
(8) Develop the statistic analysis management system of banking and insurance
services so as to aid the corporate in advanced decision-making.
(9) Plan for capital reinvestment, promote strategic alliances, diversify markets, and raise operational efficiency.
(10) Broaden capital-use channels, establish hedging mechanisms, strengthen the
deployment of financial assets, and raise the profitability of capital employment.
(11) Strengthen corporate governance, fulfill internal controls and audits as well as risk management mechanisms, protect the customer’s complete interests, and assure(the safety of financial services.
(12) Strengthen postal linkages with local communities, actively participate in charity activities, and mold a good corporate image.
3.Regarding supply and demand
(1) Build and renovate Chunghwa Post buildings, increase and replace automated (1)
facilities, and elevate service quality.
(2) Expand computer equipment and functions, reinforce the data protection network, and ensure the safety of data.
