2.00 Ting, 〝Wen〞 Square Cauldron Shang dynasty (1766-1122 B.C.)Only three characters of the original inscription are readable. A tetrapod ,consisting of a rectangular cauldron, spurred flanges at the corners and in the middle of the four sides, is carried by four rather slender, cylindrical legs.Tao-tieh mask is rendered in low relief on each side of the body. 5.00 Ting, Cauldron Western Chou dynasty (1122-722 B.C.) The ting has a rounded mouth, with handles and three columnar feet, and is decorated with tao-tieh animal design in relief on a ground pattern of meanders. 6 flanges. 8.00 Hu, Wine Container Western Chou dynasty (1122-722 B.C.)There is an inscription of 152 characters on both the lid and the vessel. Ithas a rectangular body with a ring foot and animal-shaped handles and is decorated with lotus petal, curves, interlocked dragon, and coiled serpent design. 10.00 Chueh, 〝Chih-fu-hsin〞 Wine Vessel Shang dynasty (1766-1122 B.C.)The vessel has an inscription of 3 characters 〝Chih-fu-hsin〞 under the handle.It has a columnar body with a handle on the side, an open spout, and an extension of the rim at the back with capped pillars beside the spout. The decorations are a tao-tieh animal mask and spiral pattern.
