Description
The Asian Parliamentarians’s Union, composed of member nations the Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, has made remarkable contributions towards international cooperation and development in this part of the world since its formation. In honor of its 5th Assembly held in Taipei, a set of com-memorative postage stamps was issued on the opening day of the Assembly.
